Palo Santo Sticks
Title: Palo Santo Sticks
Quantity: 3 sticks
Price: $8.00
Origin: Ecuador
Botanical name: Bursera graveolens
Palo Santo, meaning “holy wood”, is traditionally used for cleansing spaces, setting ritual intention, meditation, divination, and creating a warm ritual atmosphere.
These Ecuadorian Palo Santo sticks have a soft, woody scent with resinous, citrus-like notes. Light the end of the stick, allow it to burn briefly, then blow out the flame and let the smoke gently move through the space.
We sourced this Palo Santo directly from an Ecuadorian wholesale supplier, rather than buying through multiple layers of resale. The wood is sold to us as ethically sourced Bursera graveolens, the species commonly used for Palo Santo incense.
This is different from Bulnesia sarmientoi, another tree sometimes also called Palo Santo, which is the species more often associated with endangered timber concerns. Because both plants can share the same common name, they are often confused.
Things to note:
Palo Santo should always be burned safely and never left unattended.
Only a small amount is needed each time, so one stick can be used across multiple sessions.
Because this is a natural product, each stick may vary slightly in size, colour, shape, and scent strength.
This product is sold for fragrance, ritual, and decorative use only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any illness.
